Seasonal Eating: June 2012

Pin It Now!
June!  The start of summer and the list of seasonal ingredients available in the Northwest reflects this.  Look at how many fruits and vegetables are becoming available.  June is when I start to really work at being organized and deliberate in my cooking and preserving efforts and I cannot wait to see what everyone else is doing.  I plan to preserve fruits and vegetables by canning and freezing, along with cooking deeply indulgent favorites that celebrate whatever fresh things I can get my hands on.  Link up throughout the month all of your amazing creations and insightful tips and tricks and how-to's below.  Hurray for June!

  1. Hi Michelle,  I've linked my Sugar Snap Peas post to your June roundup.  Now that summer is here there is a lot of local produce available here in Chicago!

  3. I've linked my Saucy Summer Sprouts Recipe to the June roundup! I hope you'll like it! It tastes so decadent I eat it every day, and it gives me so much energy - I was rowing today and this burst of speed just grabbed me and I was racing the wind just for the joy of it!
