Muy Bueno Cookbook Giveaway! {Closed}

Pin It Now!

This post is the last part of the Muy Bueno Cookbook Spotlight & Cook-Off sponsored by Hippocrene and hosted at girlichef.  It has been a lot of fun to dive into this cookbook and to hear three generations come together to preserve their history and stories and recipes.  The cookbook reflects the diversity of the authors with classics that have been made for generations to new and fresh recipes with the Muy Bueno flair.  I think that was the most enjoyable part of the cookbook for me - hearing these three ladies stories and feeling welcomed into the Muy Bueno family for a short time.

There are 15 chapters in the cookbook: Introduction, Glossary of Chiles, Tamales, Breads, Salsas, Drinks, Aguas y Paletas, Appetizers, Soups, Entrees, Sides, Desserts, Gracias, Spanish Recipe Index, Recipe Index.  As you can see they have you covered for any kind of occasion!  The cookbook is filled with wonderful photos that accompanies each recipe along with very clear and easy to follow instructions.  If you are brand new to authentic Mexican cooking at home you will find yourself encouraged and feeling able to take on any challenge.

Muy Bueno is finally on sale to everyone.  But.  You have a chance (well, a lot of chances!) to win your own free copy of the cookbook thanks to the generosity of Hippocrene.  They are letting each of the Spotlight participants give away one copy to mailing addresses in the US only, so you can enter here and then head over to girlichef and enter again at each of the other sites too!  Woot!

To get your own copy of this cookbook just post a comment below letting me know which chapter you are the most curious about!  On October 9th at 4 pm PST the contest will close here at Delectable Musings and a comment will be picked at random.  I will reach out to the winner to get your mailing address details at that time.  Good luck!

Full disclosure - I received a free copy of the cookbook for review purposes.  All opinions expressed are entirely my own.
